Course Description
Fuel is high on the list of costs for all fleets. Many AFSI clients reveal that fuel is their number one controllable cost. With the ever increasing cost of all types of vehicle fuels, prudent managers are searching for ways to improve efficiency in operating equipment and increasing their bottom-line. “You can’t manage what you don’t measure!” These workshops assist companies with developing a plan to improve their fuel efficiency, implement the plan, measure and monitor its success, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change.
The program is designed around four phases:
- Why you should have an energy management plan
- How to make a plan
- How to benchmark your fleet
- How to sell, implement, analyze and continue your plan
Why do you need a fuel management plan?
- To develop a baseline for fuel usage
- To ensure the fleet is more fuel efficient
- To eliminate / reduce costs and reduce impact on the environment
