John retired from School District #23 in Kelowna after 18 years working as a dedicated school bus driver and 7 years as the transportation coordinator. John’s extensive background as a professional driver provided him with the solid knowledge to supervise both personnel and the day to day operations of a large fleet. His forward thinking regarding the use of computerized programs and enhanced training advanced the efficiency of the fleet.
Qualifications / Associations / Accreditation
John served as a valued member of the Health & Safety Committee and the Association of School Transportation Supervisors of BC. John’s tenure as a school bus driver was collision free and his passion for safety has gained him the respect of those with whom he has worked. He is certified in Commercial Vehicle Collision Investigation.
