Driver and Operations Staff Training
Between 1993 and 1998, 77% of all commercial vehicle involved crashes occurring in British Columbia were attributed to the driver in some way. 68% were a result of driver error, while 9% stemmed from the driver's condition (e.g. fatigue, impairment). Even though root cause analysis of these crashes often points to a lack of management controls being in place to mitigate loss, policies and procedures that govern all facets of operations, the vast majority of crashes would not have occurred had the driver been better prepared, often through enhanced, targeted training.
Subsequent to our detailed risk assessment process, we can develop a customized driver training program that is unique to a client, targeting the primary concerns that historically have led to motor vehicle related or injury incidents.
We offer a wide variety of customized training courses and presentations for both drivers and operations staff including:
- Basic On-Scene Accident Investigation
